Job title: Fire Detection Engineering Lead
Job Type: 14 Month Fixed Term Permanent Contract
Start date: Subject to Clearance
Salary: Up to 60,000 Per Annum
Location: Bristol
Flexible Working: Hybrid Working Available a 3 Days a Week in the Office
Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week
Role & Responsibilities:
Technical clarification and resolution of supplier and client technical queries
Technical management of the supplier and support to the client in their contractual relationship during design, procurement and delivery phase regarding the schedule, costs, specifications and requisitions
Follow up of all equipment manufacturing and delivery to site
Lead reviews of supplier technical documents and annual surveillance report
Management of risks, opportunities, open Points, UK Design Changes and Exemptions requests generated by the supplier
Management of contract transfer sheets that informs the clients about contract modification via dedicated tools
Management of interfaces with the clients disciplines involved in the fire detection equipment contracts
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909)
Knowledge of fire detection and protection standards
Knowledge of the nuclear field via school curriculum or professional experience
Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field
Technical documents reviews
Experience in fire detection field, instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing or installation
UK National Security Vetting Status - All candidates must be eligible to gain UKSV BPSS Clearance.
