Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer - Nuclear Assurance with a background in the nuclear sector to be engaged on a permanent basis in Barrow-in-Furness on a hybrid working basis.
What You'll Be Doing:
Carrying out verification and compliance activities to ensure adherence to Authorisation Conditions and internal arrangements. Maintaining compliance documentation including the Compliance Matrix, Verification Plans, and contributing to reporting dashboards. Supporting the regulatory interface and assisting with internal and external inspection programmes. Collaborating with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Test & Commissioning teams to deliver robust compliance outcomes.
About You:
Experience in nuclear regulation or nuclear compliance. Background in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, oil & gas, defence, or aerospace. Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Product Assurance. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and safety standards.
