A fantastic client in the nuclear space is looking for a senior project engineer to join them on their fantastic engineering projects for one of the legacy reactors. This role offers a great opportunity for a senior project engineer with a background in decommissioning to thrive on a long term contract. - Job Title - Senior Project Engineer
- Location - Romney Marsh
- Contract Length - 18 Months
- Pay Rates - £525 a day (Inside IR35)
Key Deliverables: - Identifying project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned project.
- Contribute to production of Project Execution Plans including design, safety case and commissioning strategies.
- Producing and/or approve project technical specifications.
- Managing detailed design activities in accordance with design authority standards.
- Carrying out technical assessment/approval of contractors work instruction/method
- statements/risk assessments.
- Approving as built drawings.
- To specify and provide technical supervision of commissioning and/or decommissioning.
- Managing hand over to systems/operations ensuring that all drawings, instructions and training have been supplied as required.
Experiences Required: - A HNC or equivalent within the Mechanical/Electrical/CE&I disciplines.
- Working knowledge of CDM.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
- A strong knowledge of engineering Standards and procedures used in regulated industries.
- A solid Technical background.
- Ideally, previous experience of dealing with Radioactive Waste.
