Join a Leading Organisation in the Nuclear Industry Job Overview: Altrad is seeking skilled HVAC professionals, ranging from Technicians to Engineers, to join our team at Hinkley Point C. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across the site. This role involves a broad range of activities, from hands-on technical work to complex engineering tasks, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility. Key Responsibilities: System Design and Engineering: Develop and review HVAC system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Perform engineering calculations and simulations to optimize system performance. Installation and Commissioning: Oversee or participate in the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring all components are correctly assembled and integrated. Conduct commissioning tests to verify system functionality and performance. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including preventative and corrective tasks to ensure reliability and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Project Management: Plan and manage HVAC-related projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into the overall plant infrastructure. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all HVAC work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Conduct quality assurance checks and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and project progress. Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and repairs for future reference. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and site personnel to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems.
