Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Days with an early Friday finish
The Opportunity:
EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly Technician to join a well-established and innovative precision engineering company located in Tamworth. Key Responsibilities:
- Work to detailed engineering drawings and schematics
- Assemble precision machined components
- Working with various hand tools and equipment
About You:
As an Assembly Technician, you will be a detail orientated, focused individual who is eager to test their skills and knowledge in a clean, modern environment. You will enjoy working on various precision machined components ensuring accurate assembly processes are following to a high standard. You will spent time working on intricate assembly ensuring all elements of the build are correct.
Essential Requirements:
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the above essential requirements.
- Please note that due to the security clearance requirements, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years assembly experience
- Able to assemble small, intricate parts
- Confidence handling precision pieces used for assembly such as springs, nuts, bolts, coils, washers etc
- Minimum 3 years in a precision engineering environment
- Able to use hand held assembly tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
