Description:	Mechanical Erection Supervisor Type: Full-Time Shift: Nightshift Start Date: ASAP Duration: 5 Years (with potential extension) Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced Mechanical Erection Supervisor to lead nightshift operations on a high-profile infrastructure project. The role involves overseeing the installation of large-scale mechanical systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in line with engineering specifications and project milestones. Key Responsibilities Supervise mechanical erection of turbines, generators, condensers, pumps, and associated systems Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain productivity and compliance with safety standards Conduct inspections, walkdowns, and quality checks to verify installation integrity Manage installation documentation, method statements, and risk assessments Ensure alignment, tolerances, and mechanical fit-out meet design and operational requirements Support commissioning readiness and interface with commissioning and QA teams Enforce permit-to-work systems and maintain strong safety culture during nightshift operations Provide clear handovers and progress updates to dayshift and project management teams Requirements Proven experience supervising mechanical erection on large industrial or energy projects Strong understanding of rotating equipment, lifting operations, and mechanical systems SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent supervisory certification preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Willingness to work long-term nightshift rotation Familiarity with nuclear safety culture and quality assurance standards is an advantage The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
