Rate: Up to 55 per hour (Inside IR35)

About the Role


We're seeking an experienced Information Manager to support a high-profile programme at AWE Aldermaston. This is a key role within the Programme Team, responsible for establishing and managing the processes, systems, and governance frameworks that ensure all programme information and records are accurate, compliant, and effectively controlled.



Key Responsibilities


  • Define and implement processes for managing programme delivery documentation and records.

  • Develop and maintain the Information Management Plan in alignment with AWE's CMS requirements.

  • Integrate information management artefacts into programme IT systems, including Meridian, TSN, SharePoint, MS Teams, and other project-specific platforms.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Information Management issues, including those related to UK/French regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate closely with the Handover Management Function and AWE IKM to manage programme-specific documentation and data control activities.

  • Track and report on documentation throughout the lifecycle - from site acceptance and installation through to commissioning and handover.

  • Provide input to key programme meetings and ensure data consistency and traceability across all phases.


About You


We're looking for a proactive professional with:


  • Proven experience in information or records management within large, complex, or regulated engineering environments (defence, nuclear, or infrastructure ideal).

  • Strong working knowledge of document control systems and digital collaboration tools (Meridian, SharePoint, MS Teams, TSN).

  • Excellent understanding of data governance, compliance, and document lifecycle management.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
