Lead Project Engineer

Role Overview:

As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex engineering projects. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and driving projects from concept through to completion.

Location: Netherlands

Contract: Freelance (12 months) (5 year project)

Start date: January/February (2026)

Language: English + Dutch/German

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee technical design, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• Proven experience in project engineering within energy, nuclear, or industrial sectors.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English + Dutch / German
