Employer: CarmichaelUK The Opportunity CarmichaelUK is recruiting for a Mechanical Package Manager to join a major redevelopment project at the Royal Navy s Devonport Dockyard. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK s most complex and high-profile infrastructure programmes within a secure MOD facility. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required (process can take up to 8 weeks).
Applicants must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Key Responsibilities -
Manage procurement, planning, and delivery of all mechanical works in compliance with project requirements and UK law. -
Oversee design reviews to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant construction solutions. -
Monitor progress and financial reporting, ensuring quality and commercial targets are achieved. -
Lead and motivate your team to deliver to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. -
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities. -
Maintain accurate records and ensure all necessary authorisations and appointments are in place. About You -
HNC, BSc, BEng, MEng, or MSc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or related discipline). -
SMSTS qualification. -
CSCS (White PQP/AQP) card. -
Proven experience in a similar role within large, complex infrastructure projects ideally within the defence or nuclear sector. -
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.  |
