Rates: £450 - £550/day Umbrella (Inside IR35) + Lodge for candidates living 40+ miles from site About the Role Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major infrastructure works at Devonport Dockyard. This is a long-term opportunity on one of the UK s most complex and high-profile defence and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing electrical packages across a large, multi-disciplinary project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities -
Manage the delivery of electrical packages from planning through to completion. -
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. -
Oversee installation works, testing, commissioning, and compliance. -
Review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications. -
Ensure all electrical works adhere to project, safety, and regulatory standards. -
Monitor progress, track costs, and report on package performance. -
Manage subcontractor performance and resolve technical or delivery issues. -
Work closely with engineering, planning, and commercial teams. Requirements -
Proven experience as an Electrical Package Manager or similar role within major infrastructure, defence, marine, nuclear, or heavy civil engineering projects. -
Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation standards, and commissioning processes. -
Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams. -
Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills. -
SC clearance desirable (or ability to obtain). -
Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications.  |
