Description: Quality Engineer for a major marine project!

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer OR Site Engineer with plenty of QA experience looking for your next freelance role?
Our Client offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services across the UK building and maintaining highways, marine projects, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer working on a £30M+ section of a large nuclear project on the South coast. Working as part of their friendly site team you will assist with the following duties
The Role:
  • To provide the Project with accurate and timely quality assurance guidance.
  • Checking ITPs
  • To manage the Quality Assurance functions for allocated projects, assisting the Project(s) and Suppliers in producing the required Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
  • To determine by audit the level of compliance within the Project to ISO 9001 and any Client and/or Regulator-specific requirements.
  • Must be customer-focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs.
The right candidate:
  • Experience as Quality Engineer working on Civil Engineering projects OR experience as a Site Engineer with high levels of QA responsibility.
  • Local to Plymouth
  • Ability to gain baseline security clearance BPSS
