CNC Machinist

A great opportunity for a CNC Turner and CNC Miller is now available to join a reputable precision workshop based in South Lanarkshire. They have been operating for 50 years delivering component parts to industries such as Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Rail and pride themselves on delivering a high-quality service which has led to repeat business over the years. This will be an onsite, permanent role where you will operate, set up and program machines cording to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, set up and program CNC Machines (Heidenheim or Fanuc preferable).
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
• Ensure machines optimal performance, adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Time served Machinist
• Demonstrable experience in a CNC Machinist role post apprenticeship.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret blueprints.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Salary:

• DOE
• Overtime and overtime rates available.
