Civils Supervisor

Due to continued project requirements, we have an immediate need for experienced Civil Engineering Supervisors to join our existing team at Fawley.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising civil engineering works within a safety-critical operational environment, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision of gangs of direct and subcontract labour
• Day-to-day works management and coordination of site activities
• Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture within a safety-critical environment
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Holding and managing Permits to Work
• Liaising with site management, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth delivery of works

Requirements

• Proven experience in civil engineering construction is essential, including:
  • Concrete works (bunds, bases, slabs)
  • Reinforcement and formwork
  • Pipework and associated civil works
• • Excavations and groundworks
• Reliable and responsible approach with a strong awareness of health and safety
• Strong work ethic and ability to lead site teams effectively
• Relevant trade or supervisory qualifications are desirable
• Appropriate machine tickets (e.g. dumper, roller, forklift, 360 excavator) are advantageous but not essential
• Previous experience of the oil and gas sector would be a major bonus
