The RoleAs a Field EC&I Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll play a vital role in keeping nuclear power stations safe, available and compliant. You work with specialised equipment and safety systems, apply rigorous test standards, and help ensure reliable low carbon energy for millions of homes, all while building your expertise in one of the UK's most regulated and meaningful engineering environments. Set working times are 37 hours per week: Monday to Wednesday 07:30-18:00, Thursday 07:30-15:00. During outages, you work 12 hour shifts with paid overtime (time and a half) and a premium (time and a third) for night hours. This is a roving role with regular travel and overnight stays to support EDF power stations at Heysham, Hartlepool and Torness, as well as our Whetstone Manufacturing site; travel and accommodation expenses are provided.
