| Description: | Principal People are currently recruiting for a Permit Officer in partnership with a well renowned Nuclear sector Infrastructure organisation for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based near Wolverhampton who are looking to pay the successful candidate a salary of £42-45k + Package. There will also be requirement for certain shift-based requirements which also offer an uplift in pay for this requirement. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the successful Permit Officer will take charge within the permit office, controlling of admittance to site for contractors, issuing permits for isolation works, overseeing of undergoing works within relevant areas, reviewing of risk assessments and making sure individuals are authorised to carry out relevant works. the Health and Safety function to maintain a compliant and positive health and safety culture across the organisation and operations undertaking basic risk assessments, health and safety audits, assisting with general health and safety queries and offer overall health hand safety advice and support to the H&S function for this period.
