Mechanical Supervisor - Sellafield Site
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a long-term contract on Sellafield Site.
Rate: 35.00 per hour (CIS)
Location: Sellafield, Cumbria
Start: ASAP (subject to site clearances)
Duration: Long-term contract
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Mechanical background, ideally time-served as a Fitter, Technician, or Mechanical Engineer
- Previous supervisory experience on industrial, nuclear, or heavy engineering projects
- Previous Sellafield experience highly desirable
- Local candidates preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervising mechanical installation and maintenance activities on site
- Coordinating labour and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
- Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with site HSE requirements
- Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to site management
- Reviewing permits, RAMS, and ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Supporting project delivery while maintaining a strong safety culture
