Description: Assistant Project Manager - Shape the future of clean energy on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll play a key role in ensuring project activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in delivering project and contract scope across key work packages.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling and project controls activities.
  • Support document control and management system processes.
  • Monitor compliance with approved project procedures and standards.
  • Help develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the delivery of project documentation under supervision.
  • Contribute to programme planning and technical workstream schedules.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records of project decisions.
  • Support the delivery of projects against safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting project delivery within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confidence interacting with senior managers and project stakeholders.
  • Budget awareness, forecasting or cost-tracking experience is advantageous.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
