Are you an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge nuclear projects that make a real difference?
We're looking for an ambitious EC&I Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering innovative radiometric characterisation and alarm systems for major nuclear programmes across the UK and internationally. The Role
As an EC&I Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting specialist instrumentation and control systems from concept through to commissioning.
Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and verifying engineering solutions that meet quality and safety requirements
- Producing technical designs and supporting system improvements
- Investigating technical issues and implementing effective engineering solutions
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers and suppliers
- Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Providing technical support for operational systems
- Contributing to project delivery while promoting engineering best practice
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from engineers with experience in one or more of the following: - Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineering
- Control systems engineering
- Analogue and digital electronics
- Radiometric or physics-based systems (desirable)
- Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Customer and supplier liaison
- Testing, installation and commissioning activities
- Technical problem solving within highly regulated industries
Qualifications - Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards professional registration
Security Clearance
Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
