Senior Quantity Surveyor

Exciting new opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor that would be interested in joining national internals fit out subcontractor in Carlisle, Cumbria.

Due to being awarded multiple national major tier 1 building contracts on projects across high rise student accommodation and apartments, major mixed use commercial builds, hotels, prisons, nuclear, retail and industrial units, this internal decorating and upgrading subcontractor seek a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the full commercial management of the contracts within the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead with the opportunity to progress in to a Commercial Manager role over the next 12-24 months as the business grows.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

• Proven track record working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a internals / fit out subcontractor or main contractor environment across multiple build sectors.
• Academically Qualified with a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills able to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively
• Excellent IT skills
• Able to prioritise, manage risk and value engineer.
  
  

Salary & Package on offer:

• Base Salary 60,000 to 68,000 (dependent on level of experience)
