Senior EC&I Engineer
50 per hour
12 month initial contract
Cumbria, Warrington, Preston, Leicester, Bristol, Devonport - hybrid 1 day per week in office
Are you a Senior EC&I Engineer who has experience working within a complex highly regulated industry such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear or Defence? If so, please read on
Essential skillset: - CEng (or working towards)
- Demonstrable experience of the full engineering lifecycle.
- Proven experience in attending FATs (Factory acceptance tests)
- Systems calculations, modelling and analysis
- System safety justifications
- In depth understanding of at least one of the following areas:
- Instrumentation and control system theory including PID control, Electrical circuits design, EMC precautions and power supply characteristics
- Safety Integrity Levels 1-4 (SIL) and BS EN 61508 or 61511
- PLC programming to IEC (phone number removed) standard - MUST be a UK National to be considered for this position as you will need at least BPSS clearance (SC or DV in some cases).
