Nuclear Cleared Mechanical Technicians

We are looking for a team of Nuclear Cleared Mechanical Technicians for our client based on a project in Aldermaston, Reading.

Hourly rate: £38.17ph

Pay types: CIS or Agency PAYE

(PAYE rates available upon request)

Duration: 12 months initially

Hours: 40 - 50 hours per week (core hours 37.5)

Monday - Friday

Project details:

Complete the installation, assembly, maintenance, operation and dismantling of general plant and equipment on site.

Experience required:

All contractors must have at least 2 years of experience working on Nuclear Projects

Experience using a pedestal grinder, drill and bandsaw

Experience lifting & slinging

Contractors will ideally have pipefitting Swagelok experience

Contractors will ideally have Gas and Electric welding experience

Qualifications required:

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.

SC Clearance as a minimum is essential for this position.

All SC Cleared contractors must be willing to obtain DV Clearance.
