Site Project Manager - Heavy Lifting Machinery & Automation
We have an exciting opportunity on Hinkley Point C for an international engineering company specialising in heavy machinery, automation, and technical support within the Nuclear industry.
You will oversee the on-site assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of highly specialised polar cranes on a Nuclear site. This role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety and quality, and delivering technical excellence to clients across industrial sectors.
This position is ideal for an experienced mechanical or electromechanical professional who thrives in hands-on, site-based roles. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee on-site assembly, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of specialised cranes.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing daily progress reports and technical updates.
- Monitor project compliance with budgets and company procedures, providing regular internal reporting.
- Supervise subcontractors and liaise with technical teams at head office for ongoing support.
In return you'll receive a salary of up to 90,000 + an accommodation allowance, 25 days holiday, a matched pension up to 8% and Health Insurance.
