We have a fantastic opportunity for Senior and Principal Waste Consultants a leading nuclear engineering and decommissioning business who to support a high-profile decommissioning programme in the UK. The company operates nationally and internationally, with expertise across waste treatment, consultancy, and site-based decommissioning services for both domestic and global nuclear clients.

This role would suit professionals with a background in radioactive waste management, decommissioning, or nuclear consultancy-especially those experienced in disposability assessments, strategic waste planning, or working with NDA, Magnox or EDF environments. Candidates seeking hybrid or remote working with site travel will find this a flexible and rewarding opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support delivery of waste management and decommissioning projects within time, cost, and quality expectations
• Provide technical advice on environmental and radioactive waste characterisation and packaging
• Undertake and manage disposability assessments and contribute to strategic waste planning
• Engage with stakeholders and waste packagers to ensure compliant and timely delivery
• Ensure product quality through audits and technical conformance to regulatory standards

In return you'll receive a salary up to 55k + Car Allowance for a Senior Consultant, or 60k + Car Allowance for a Principal level role. You'll also get 25 days holiday (rising with tenure), 8% pension contributions and a company bonus amongst many others.
