Are you an Engineer from a manufacturing, industrial or similar background looking to progress your career into a sales role, where you will be given full sales training both on the job and through external courses, with clear scope to progress to a Sales Manager position?

Are you looking to be moulded into a varied, field-based role covering the UK, where you can increase your earnings through commission?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised machinery manufacturer, where you will be managing key accounts (70%) and developing new business (30%) across the UK, with some business conducted overseas too.

In this role you will be home based then visiting customer sites over the week, with at least one day in the Nottingham office. Working alongside a dedicated sales team, you will develop your sales skills from shadowing them along with any courses you may require.

Founded nearly 50 years ago, this company design, manufacturer, supply and install a range of machinery across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, military, and nuclear. They pride themselves on their extraordinary reputation of reliable machinery, couple with excellent retention rates due to internal promotions.

This role would suit an Engineer with an understanding of machinery looking to step into a sales role where they will be trained, developed, and progressed into a Sales Manager position.

The Role:

• Selling special purpose machinery solutions, specific machinery training given
• Full sales training given through shadowing and courses
• Managing key accounts (70%) and developing new business (30%)
• Working within industries such as automotive, aerospace, military, and nuclear
• Home based, attending clients sites and exhibitions across the UK

The Person:

• Engineer from a mechanical / electrical / mechatronic background
• Machinery / Capital Equipment experience
• Looking to get into a field-based sales role
