The salary for this role is £56,596 (inclusive of Specialist Allowance), and onsite working is expected. This role may involve working with Radiological Materials. This role can be based at Culham, Oxfordshire. This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer in a senior role, you will take on a key leadership position in testing and commissioning RACE electrical systems, ensuring they meet site requirements and safety standards. You will oversee the installation of hardware and cabling for remote handling applications, such as control panels, cubicles, and harnesses, while also supporting the Electrical Implementation Section Leader across the RACE portfolio. This senior position requires expertise in guiding complex projects and leading teams to successful outcomes. This hands-on position may also require you to work on external sites, including international locations, as part of your responsibilities. If you can produce high-quality documentation and deliver exceptional work within deadlines to successfully close out projects, possess excellent demonstrable workshop skills, and have a flexible working attitude with the ability to complete tasks both individually and as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.
