Were a growing company at the forefront of cutting-edge defence engineering. Were hiring for a Nuclear Fire Safety Engineer experienced in driving fire safety assurance across the full lifecycle of nuclear facilities from design and build, through operation, right up to decommissioning.

Youll be working alongside our client to deliver robust nuclear fire safety management and maintain full compliance with Site Licence Conditions.

We are looking for someone with broad expertise in developing and supporting fire safety cases within the nuclear sector, including:

• Preparing safety case documentation (such as SJP, PCSR, PCmSR, PRS)

• Designing and implementing nuclear fire strategies

• Leading hazard identification studies (HAZOP and other approaches)

• Assessing and categorising nuclear fire hazards

• Carrying out Deterministic and Probabilistic Safety Assessments

• Applying and interpreting fire modelling results in relation to fault group assessments

• Supporting engineering substantiation activities in fire management

• Providing technical evidence on fire effects (temperature, flame spread, heat fluxes, distances, etc.) for safety justification

• Performing localised fire modelling calculations
