Overview Principal Structures Engineer - Senior/Principal level We are working with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy engaged in transformational heavy civil engineering programmes. You'll join a dynamic, inclusive team to deliver solutions across high-profile sectors including Defence, Energy and Water. Key Responsibilities - Lead a technical team to deliver design work to the highest standards, in line with relevant design codes and client requirements.
- Prepare design briefs, scopes of work and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage project timeframes and budgets, ensuring timely milestone delivery.
- Collaborate closely across UK and international teams to deliver integrated structural design solutions.
- Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards throughout the design process.
What You Bring - Chartered status as a Civil or Structural Engineer.
- Significant experience in design delivery, especially within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong expertise in the analysis and design of heavy concrete and steel structural elements, familiar with British Standards
- Proficiency in structural analysis software.
- Experience in the nuclear sector (design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems and components) is strongly preferred-but exceptional candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
On Offer - £55,000 - £65,000
