Plant Body Fitter and Heavy Trailer
£13.00 - £17.00 per hour Southampton
Full-time - Day shifts Monday - Friday
Purpose
To assemble plant bodies and heavy haulage trailers to precise specifications, contributing to the production of high-quality, durable vehicles built 'Better by Design'. Key Responsibilities
Follow build specifications to assemble plant bodies and heavy trailers.
Install and connect hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Perform general mechanical fitting and adjustment.
Ensure work meets internal quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Essential Skills
2+ years of electrical fitting experience.
Ability to read and follow build specifications.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Self-motivated and able to work well in a team.
Effective communication and time management skills.
Authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
Desirable
Driving licence and forklift licence.
Experience in trailer or commercial vehicle assembly.
