| Description: | Structural Engineer We are partnering with an award winning, employee owned civil and structural engineering consultancy. They provide civil, structural, nuclear, geo environmental and attraction safety services and are involved in an impressive range of projects across the UK. Their portfolio includes high rise mixed use developments, theme park and leisure attractions, and an exciting variety of commercial and residential schemes. The team is collaborative, technically strong and committed to helping people develop meaningful and long term careers. They are now looking to bring in a Structural Engineer with three to ten years of experience to join their growing Manchester team in the Northern Quarter. You will be involved in the design of buildings for commercial, residential, leisure and industrial projects at sites throughout the UK. Your work will include preparing structural calculations from feasibility through to detailed design and construction level, using both hand calculations and software such as Tedds and Tekla Structural Designer. You will also take part in site inspections and surveys, work closely with experienced engineers and technicians and attend design team meetings where you will coordinate your work with architects, M and E engineers and the in house civils team.
