Senior EC&I Engineer

Astute 's Nuclear team is partnering with an engineering business with over 40 years' experience across civil nuclear, defence and nuclear consultancy work to recruit a Senior EC&I Engineer on a permanent basis, working remotely for nuclear decommissioning sites across the UK.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior EC&I Engineer role

• The EC&I Engineer will be responsible for producing design studies and manufacturing designs for high-profile nuclear projects.
• The engineer will work within a multi-discipline design team and be responsible for undertaking the design of equipment as delegated by the Integration Manager and/or Project Manager.

Professional and Personal skills

The Senior EC&I Engineer role would suit someone who has:

• Relevant Engineering Degree, HNC or demonstrable equivalent experience
• IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent
• Eligibility for SC clearance
• 5+ years post grad experience

Experience & Knowledge

• Broad based engineering experience in design and manufacturing
• Design of electrical systems
• Low voltage control gear
• Control systems
