PAYE Pay Rate: 400.00/day (including 43.00/day Holiday Pay)

Hours: 7:00-17:30 Mon-Fri

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting an HSE Manager for an ongoing demolition contract on a large MOD site near Reading. The role will be working in collaboration with a demolition project management team to maintain excellent standards of health and safety across all aspects of the project. Duties will include:

- Conducting site health & safety inspections and audits assisting, if required with any close out actions as well as reviewing induction programmes, toolbox talks and briefings.

- Monitoring several projects simultaneously, managing your time accordingly.

- Be client facing, work with the client ESH team establishing relationships with key client team members.

- Developing and logging reports based on the results of site safety inspections or safety audits. Making sure any reportable incidents have been raised to the Health and Safety Manager.

- Monitoring training matrix and organise where required.

- Assisting project team with the review of company and contractors risk assessments and method statements checking for improvements and compliance. Assume Lead Reviewer role in gathering comments and chasing close out with supply chain.

- Assisting in the preparation of Risk and Method Statements.

- Investigating and reporting findings of accidents and incidents to include improvement recommendations.

- Ensuring compliance to company health, safety, quality & environmental procedures.

- Planning and maintaining records as necessary to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and contract requirements.

- Carrying out site inductions, D&A testing and other training as required

- Carrying out tool box talks.

- Compiling data and maintaining dashboard reports.

- Assisting the SHEQ lead in the development of company Health & Safety systems, driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

-NEBOSH Construction Qualification/Diploma or equivalent.

-Bachelors Degree in relevant subject.

-Experience of Construction/Demolition

-Chartered Member of IOSH

-Security Clearance desirable (or ability to gain DV clearance would be essential)

-CSCS Card

-The capacity to work within a heavily regulated environment is essential along with the ability to be dynamic and flexible in application of procedures, policy and regulation.

-Reliability and a good work ethic are imperative
