Estimator/Buyer - £40,000 Wednesbury, West MidlandsWe're a UK engineering and fabrication specialist working across energy, nuclear, defence, aerospace, and environmental sectors. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an Estimator/Buyer to join our team.The Role• Prepare accurate estimates for bespoke, one-off engineering projects• Source and negotiate with suppliers & subcontractors• Read technical drawings/specifications and assess project risks• Purchase materials to agreed/quoted prices• Work closely with engineers and project teams to deliver cost-effective solutionsAbout You• Engineering degree (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Metallurgical or similar)• Experience in heavy engineering/pipework projects• Knowledge of welding standards (ARC, MIG, TIG) and ISO 9001 systems• Strong background in estimating and buying for bespoke projectsWhat's on Offer Salary: £40,000 per annum Exciting, varied projects in high-profile industries Collaborative, forward-thinking team Apply today or call Roger at Resolute Recruitment for more detailsSkills:Estimator |
