The role As a Senior Safety Engineer, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the safe operation and continued availability of the UK's submarine fleet. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to nationally important programmes that safeguard the country's continuous at sea nuclear deterrent. Day-to-day, you'll join our Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) team, where your technical leadership will guide complex safety engineering tasks, support system changes, and influence major engineering decisions that underpin defence capability.
