Quality Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Quality Engineer on a long term contract, the role will be working within the Nuclear industry and will be offering the chance of Outside of IR35 for candidates as well as the client offering hybrid working with the site/offices being based in the Reading area.

Candidates will be expected to cover the whole scope of work from project kick off to project completion which will include the following:

• Review and acceptance of procedure and documentation in accordance with QC1 requirements
• Quality Control inspections in accordance with accepted ITPs
• Ongoing review and final acceptance of LTRs
• Final release inspections
• Be there to witness the testing on site
• Attendance of any required meetings, on site or via teams

Due to the nature of the project candidates must have live Security clearance and all candidates will need to be sole British nationals and have experience of working within the Nuclear industry. It is preferential for candidates to have Nuclear experience but the client is open to candidates that have experience within other industries that are transferable.
