TIG Welder

Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with a manufacturing business who specialise in the manufacture, precision fabrication, and welding of high-integrity pressure vessels for the UK's most demanding and regulated industries, in recruiting a TIG Welder out of their manufacturing site in Abingdon.

The TIG Welder comes with a salary between 34,200 and 37,620 (including shift bonus), and added benefits.

Reporting to the Line Manager you will:

• Measure and prepare aluminium and steel for welds and fabrications
• Perform high quality TIG welds
• Maintain the workshop to standards
• Maintain a Health and Safety within the workshop, and encourage others to do the same

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Proven TIG welding ability with stainless steel and aluminimum materials.

The Welder role would suit someone who is:

• Attentive, and has a keen eye for detail
• Driven to maintain standards
• Adaptable to environments changing on occasion
• Able to work as part of a team

• 34,200 - 37,620 including shift allowances.
• Late shifts (2:15 - 10:25pm Mon-Thur & 1-7pm Fri)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
