Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a HVAC Team Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a HVAC Team Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. The HVAC Team Supervisor will be responsible for: - Acting as the first point of contact for the client and team employees, taking a proactive approach to customer care and addressing day-to-day operational issues including delivery, quality, health, safety, environmental, and resource management.
- Maintaining, repairing, and installing new assets, primarily fire dampers, AHU units, and ventilation ducts, to standards defined by the contract, legislation, and company procedures.
- Proactively dealing with client queries, providing feedback, and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Ensuring all planned and reactive works are scheduled, planned, delivered, and updated on Archibus in line with contract requirements and customer expectations.
- Initiating stakeholder discussions to define safe systems of work (SSOW), preparing documentation in line with legislative, client, and company requirements.
- Conducting pre-job briefs, supervision, workface inspections, quality assurance, and LFE throughout team operations.
- Managing WIP including progress updates, issue resolution, forecasting, escalation, and completion.
- Collaborating with the planning team to schedule all planned and reactive tasks, ensuring efficient resource utilisation.
- Reporting all incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Delivering regular team briefs and consulting with the workforce to engage, address, and escalate issues proactively.
- Undertaking workforce audits and workface assurance activities.
- Participating in training and appraisal activities as required by the business.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
- Providing clear scopes for additional reactive and project works, including preparation of quotations or estimates when required.
To be successful for this HVAC Team Supervisor role you must have: - Team Leader or Supervisor experience.
- Experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of fire dampers, AHU units, and ventilation ducts.
- NVQ Level 3 in HVAC or equivalent.
- Full clean driving licence.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
- Ability to organise work and liaise effectively with multi-discipline operational teams.
- Knowledge of nuclear site non-core operational practices is desirable but not essential.
- Dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and strong focus on service delivery, operational support, and customer service.
- Professionalism, integrity, and ability to build long-term relationships with clients, staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
- Positive approach and strong work ethic.
Work Environment: This is a mobile position across a large site, requiring a range of physical activities to deliver the required service to the client. The candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours, including overtime, and will also be required to work rostered weekends.
