| Description: | Project Quality Engineer: As someone already working as a Project Quality Engineer. Your week has structure. As a Project Quality Engineer, you re in daily conversation with your Project Manager because quality & delivery move together. You re in the weekly customer quality meeting because they expect clear answers, not general updates, as a natural problem solver and great communicator you are there as the go between. As a Project Quality Engineer you spend time on the shop floor, standing at the visual board and check progress against the plan You know how to connect documentation to reality. You review technical drawings properly. You work through ITPs line by line. You check castings, traceability and lifetime records before anything is signed off. You know as a Project Quality Engineer that the paperwork and the product have to match. When non conformities arise you lead the response: Weekly meetings. Facts gathered. Root cause understood. Feedback delivered to the supplier or the customer clearly and professionally. If your background is in aerospace, defence, nuclear, subsea or another regulated engineering environment, this will feel familiar and you will feel right at home with the high standards, audit trails & documentation that stands up to scrutiny. There are 31 people across quality, you will join an experienced team, that bring extensive industry insight and are generous in sharing their expertise. The Quality Manager has done every role in the department and progressed quickly because of it. Standards are high because as you know in this industry they have to be. If you operate as a strong Project Quality Engineer, you will have autonomy and backing. Salary is £38,000 to £42,000. Overtime is paid at time and a half. There is an option to accrue up to 37 hours per year and take that back as additional leave. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can buy or sell up to five days. Pension matched up to 6 percent, rising to 8 percent after five years. Life assurance at three times salary. Free parking. Flexible hours with an early Friday finish, and something very rare in this industry a one stage interview when they know they don t mess around.
