We are seeking an experienced and proactive Mobile Plumber to join our team. Working across a portfolio of commercial sites, you will be responsible for delivering high quality plumbing repairs, installations, and reactive fault finding to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. This role requires strong technical ability, excellent customer service skills, and the flexibility to travel between sites as required. Key Responsibilities - Carry out scheduled plumbing inspections, servicing, and testing across commercial properties.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with statutory requirements and company standards.
- Identify potential issues during routine checks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and site observations.
- Respond promptly to plumbing breakdowns, leaks, blockages, and other urgent maintenance requests.
- Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective, safe repairs to minimise downtime.
- Communicate clearly with site contacts regarding job status, repair requirements, and timescales.
- Install, replace, and commission plumbing fixtures, pipework, sanitary ware, and heating components as required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, water regulations, and safety standards.
- Support compliance audits and assist with remedial works following inspection.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to a professional standard.
- Follow all health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Work collaboratively with specialist subcontractors and the wider inhouse engineering team.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on client sites.
Skills and Experience - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance (PPM & reactive).
- Strong fault finding and problem solving abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication and customer facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
