Safety and Criticality Engineer DATS is partnering with a world-leading nuclear and energy organisation to recruit a Safety and Criticality Engineer. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting projects to meet the highest safety and licensing standards. Key Responsibilities: -
Perform design safety analysis (chemotoxic, criticality, nuclear hazards). -
Conduct HAZOP/HAZAN/HAZID studies and follow-up analyses. -
Produce criticality safety assessments and dose calculations. -
Review and contribute to licence submissions and safety documentation. -
Respond to technical and safety queries, optimise safety systems. About You: -
Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline. -
5+ years experience in safety analysis, ideally criticality-focused. -
Experience with MONK (criticality) and MCNP (dose calculations). -
Confident communicator, organised, and able to manage projects. -
Willing to travel and work flexibly; knowledge of French or German an advantage. -
Eligible for or holding DV Security Clearance. Benefits: -
