TheOPPORTUNITY

We are looking for motivatedandforward-thinkingCivil Engineerstowork on the designof the Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear powerplants, as well as our future pipeline of projects.You willapply your engineering andproblem-solvingskillsto successfully deliverour projects,in collaboration withclients, contractors, stakeholders and our project teams.

Thefollowing pointsindicatesome of thekeyresponsibilitiesand activities thatour graduate engineers couldbeexpected toundertake:

Learning how to, and completing,structural design of new build nuclear structures,including for accidental situations such as seismic and blast.

Developing skills to performanalysis of structureswithin commercialFEM packages.

Coordinatingand communicatingoncomplex engineering problemsbetween project stakeholders.

Providinganalysisand responding toqueriesoriginating from construction sites.

Coordinatethe transfer of design information toreinforcement detailers.

Developing strong relationshipsand collaboratingwith clients and stakeholders.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role,the ideal candidatewouldmeetthe following requirements andcriteria:

Master's degreein civilorstructural Engineering.

Passionate about working in the engineering and nuclear industries.

Proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a multicultural team.

Agile and self-motivated, with a focus onimproving personaland teamperformance and able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges.

You enjoy new challenges and are keen to learn.

You arewilling to take responsibility whilst also wanting to support others within our team.

The following experience is also beneficial:

Programming skills in one or several languages are a plus.

Experience in the use of structural FEM softwareduring your studies.
