We are recruiting 2x experienced Pipefitters for contract work on a nuclear site near Preston.
This role requires proven experience working on carbon and stainless steel pipework in highly regulated environments, such as nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation.
This is a full-time, site-based role, so local candidates are preferred.
Details
- Start: ASAP (subject to BPSS / SC clearance - typically 1-2 weeks)
- Duration: 6-month initial contract, likely extension
- Future work available in Chester with the same client
- Hours: 39 per week
- Mon-Thurs 8.5 hrs
- Fri 5 hrs
- Overtime: Possible but not guaranteed
- Pay: CIS or Umbrella PAYE
Requirements
- Time-served Pipefitter / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience with carbon & stainless steel pipework
- Previous work in nuclear / oil & gas / heavy industrial environments
- Able to read drawings and work under permit systems
- CCNSG / Safety Passport preferred
- Must be eligible for BPSS and SC clearance
Candidates must be comfortable working within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
