Hours of work: 37 hours Role information:
A senior-level engineer responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and effective engineering solutions for complex industrial projects. The role involves leading the engineering aspects of projects from concept through to commissioning and handover, ensuring all work meets technical standards, safety regulations, and stakeholder requirements. Define project requirements and develop engineering solutions
Produce and approve technical specifications and design
Manage and oversee detailed design and contractor work
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
Support project planning, execution, and risk management
Supervise construction, commissioning, and final handover
Maintain configuration control and accurate documentation
Provide technical leadership and support to the project team Qualifications/Experience Required
Strong experience in engineering (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Civil)
Background in industrial or nuclear project environments
Knowledge of engineering standards, safety rules, and risk assessment
Experience in project and contract management
Understanding of UK regulations (e.g., CDM)
UK National Security Vetting Status - To have BPSS
