Are you a rail Assistant Project Manager or Engineer with experience in pipe lining looking to take the next step in your career?

Location: Heathrow
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE + car allowance

This is a great opportunity to join a specialist trenchless technology team delivering projects across rail, water, aviation, nuclear, and energy sectors. Due to increased workload, my client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of UV lining projects and develop into a full Project Manager role.
You will gain exposure to all stages of project delivery, from ECI and pricing through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager:
Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of lining projects from ECI to completion
Assist with preparing quotes, cost estimates, and budgets
Raise purchase orders and support cost tracking and reporting
Monitor value of works completed and support margin control
Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
Assist with project schedules, reporting, and documentation
Attend site visits and client meetings where required
Support HSEQ compliance and promote safe working practices

Requirements for Assistant Project Manager:
Experience in a relevant role (Engineer or APM)
Experience with pipe lining (UV, hot cure, steam cure, LED, GRP, etc.)
Strong computer literacy and organisational skills
Understanding of commercial processes (quoting, cost tracking, etc.)
Ambition to progress into a Project Manager role
Full UK driving licence
