The Company EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a leading precision engineering company based in Leicestershire. Our client is a specialist in the manufacture of high-quality machined components, supplying to demanding industries that require the highest standards of accuracy and quality. Your Responsibilities Will Include - Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce quality parts as per specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and conduct precision measurements to ensure accuracy
- Perform necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimise production efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the engineering team for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed
Successful Applicants MUST Be Able to Demonstrate - Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC milling operations
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
- Previous experience in a precision engineering environment is an asset
