Regulatory Compliance: Working within confines of the company's health, safety & environmental policies, and safety guidelines, as well as applicable client and government rules and regulations. Working within stringent permit to work systems, safe working practices, fire regulations and procedures. Working within confines of the company's management procedures incorporating quality control systems and procedures to BS EN ISO (phone number removed) and 45001, BS EN ISO 3834-2 and BS EN 1090-2. Duties and Responsibilities to include (but not limited to): • All aspects involved with managing the Company s Quality Management System and accreditation to ISO 9001. • Managing the Company s Quality Management Team. • Managing the Company s structural steelwork and welding quality systems and accreditation to EN1090 EXC:4 and EN3834-2 respectively, including the development of welding procedure specifications and the arrangement of the third-party inspection of these procedures as appropriate, and procedure qualification records. • Managing the Company s Fit 4 Nuclear accreditation, including the Continual Improvement Programme. • Writing the Company s nuclear project procedures, ITPs, quality plans etc., including submission and liaising with the client through to acceptance. • Managing and developing the Company s Nuclear Safety Culture. • Arranging third-party inspection of welder tests and monitoring / recording the validity of welder qualification. • Liaising with clients and the Company s management team whilst researching and compiling technical queries. • Managing the Company s responsibilities as Responsible Welding Coordinator. • Strategic planning, introduction, delivery, and maintenance of new processes. • Preparation, modification when required and the issue of the Quality Manual, procedures, method statements and work instructions which comprise the Quality System. • Review of enquiry/contract specifications to clarify technical / quality requirements. • Preparation of contract specific quality and inspection and test plans and method statements as appropriate, including submission and liaising with client through to acceptance. • Monitoring of the preparation and checking of quality dossiers and hand over packages to be issued to the client. • The assessment of new suppliers / subcontractors and monitoring existing suppliers / subcontractor for inclusion on to the Approved Suppliers List. • Planning and scheduling of internal audits. Performing internal audits and ensuring that the results of all audits are recorded. • As a result of audits, non-conformances and the like, the initiation of corrective actions as appropriate. • Ensuring that products found to be non-conforming during inspection activities are segregated and that the non-conformance procedure is initiated. • Control of non-conformances correction and preventative actions. • The analysis of records such as Corrective Action Notes, Non-Conformance Notes, Weld Repair Notes to establish trends and highlight areas of possible system improvements. • The maintenance and update of inspection equipment and their associated calibration records. • The maintenance and storage of all quality records. • Communicate, manage and supervise effectively and work as part of a team. • Any other duties as required by the Head of Technical Engineering and the Directors. • Maintain timekeeping in line with specific site regulations. • Follow all Company procedures, policies, work instructions, method statements, risk assessments, permits, safety and quality procedures and working practices.  |
