| Description: | Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Machine Tools) 38,000 - 40,000 + Overtime + Shift Allowance + Permanent Days + 4-Day Week Every Other Week + Progression Birmingham - Workshop Based Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar from a machine tool background looking to join one of the UK's leading specialist forging manufacturers, where you'll work on a wide variety of equipment while benefiting from long-term stability, regular overtime and a permanent days-based shift pattern? Established in the 1800's, this long-standing heavy engineering specialist delivers high-integrity forged and machined components into critical sectors including aerospace, defence, marine, nuclear, oil & gas and power generation. The company focuses on large-scale, complex, tight-tolerance components, offering in-house open die forging, machining, heat treatment and testing capabilities. In this role, you will work on a variety of machine tools and production equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime. Working a rotating days shift, you'll support production by keeping machinery running safely and efficiently while working closely with the wider maintenance team. The role would suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience maintaining machine tools or heavy industrial equipment, looking to join a well-established manufacturer where they can work on specialist machinery within a stable and supportive engineering environment.
