About the firm Our client is an excellent engineering firm who are one of the leaders in their field.
Based in Trafford they require a Quality Inspector from a machine shop background. Your Day to day duties in the role Inspection of high precision machined parts, both visual & using verniers & gauges. Experience/Skills and Education Requirements - Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to use a wide range of inspection equipment Micrometres, Vernier s etc.
- Detailed inspection of a wide range of precision components and fabrications in accordance with engineering drawings and written specifications.
- Good organisational skills, record keeping and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative to think through problems to find solutions within agreed guidelines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to question a process and suggest possible improvements.
Experience - Experience in all inspection functions and activities.
- Experience of operating computing equipment for data processes.
- Experience of inspection within the nuclear industry is desired.
- Working knowledge of measurement instruments.
- Solid background of technical understanding.
- Quality Engineering.

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 07.30 - 4pm
- The work is on an on-going basis.
