Senior Planning Engineer - Nuclear
Location: Glasgow - 3 days on site / 2 days remote
Rate: Up to 70 per hour - Umbrella PAYE
Contract: 12 months ASAP Start
Security: Must meet the required security clearance and nationality requirements
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support a major nuclear programme in Glasgow.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in project planning / controls, ideally within nuclear, defence, engineering or major infrastructure.
- Advanced Primavera P6 and/or MS Project experience.
- Strong experience developing and managing Level 1-3 integrated schedules.
- Experience with resource and cost-loaded schedules.
- Strong knowledge of critical path, schedule risk analysis and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience leading interactive planning and lookahead/rolling wave planning sessions.
- Experience with forensic planning, change control and what-if analysis.
- Full project lifecycle experience from bid through to close-out.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as APM, ACostE or RICS desirable.
