| Description: | Senior EC&I Engineer Location: Warrington About Westlakes Recruit Westlakes Recruit is supporting a leading organisation delivering some of the UK's most complex and nationally significant nuclear decommissioning programmes. As project activity continues to grow, we are looking to connect with experienced Senior EC&I Engineers to support the safe and successful delivery of critical decommissioning, waste management, plant modification and infrastructure projects. The UK nuclear sector is entering a sustained period of investment and delivery, creating long-term opportunities for senior engineering professionals with the capability to take greater technical responsibility across complex design scopes. For Senior EC&I Engineers, this offers the opportunity to work closely with Responsible Engineers and Area Engineering Managers, providing technical input and supporting the delivery of safe, compliant and robust engineering solutions across the project lifecycle. The Opportunity As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will support the EC&I Responsible Engineer and Area Engineering Manager in the successful delivery of engineering design activities across complex nuclear projects. You will take responsibility for the production and coordination of engineering design work packages, including specifications, drawings, analyses, verification documentation and engineering assessments. The role will require you to ensure engineering solutions satisfy applicable legal, regulatory and functional requirements, alongside defined performance conditions, while being delivered to agreed time, cost and quality expectations. About You You will be an experienced EC&I Engineer with a strong background in engineering design delivery within complex and highly regulated environments. You should be comfortable taking ownership of defined technical scopes, supporting Responsible Engineers and senior engineering management, and providing technical guidance across multidisciplinary teams. Ideally, you will have:
Experience within the nuclear, defence, energy or another highly regulated engineering sector would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the work, applicants will be required to meet appropriate UK security and site access requirements. Why Apply?
