An opportunity is available for a motivated and detail-orientated Process Engineer, with experience of assessing and optimising complex processes within a large nuclear project. A background in Commissioning, or Nuclear/other highly regulated industries would be advantageous given the complexity of the scope. Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders will be required, and hence we are looking for someone with good relationship building skills and the ability to quickly understand and assess the information provided. Salary will be dependent on experience and you can expect 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, medical and life insurance (where applicable) plus much more. Key responsibilities will be: Skilled at creating process flows, using tools such as MS Visio Experience with creation of processes and procedures, including clear documentation and instructions where applicable Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Experience of developing best practices and finding innovative solutions Proficient with the MS suite especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint Supporting the commissioning planning and outcomes on the project Qualifications Chemical Engineering Degree or relevant, demonstrable, experience Interpersonal skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders Desirable: Experience working in the nuclear industry, ideally within commissioning Commercial and contractual awareness Familiarity with working in a regulatory environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards Knowledge/qualifications in CDM or Health & Safety regulations Experience of risk assessment and project controls Good understanding of Quality Control and Assurance The setting for the role The role will be a mix of working in an engineering design office and then on site to support the commissioning process.
